How long does breakthrough bleeding last? I am experiencing breakthrough bleeding after being on ortho tricyclen for a week and a half. I know I have to wait three months for it to possibly go away, but will I continue to bleed three months straight or should it only last a few days? I am on the third day constant flow and it seems to be getting heavier. I have tried to research this question and i know there is a lot about breaththrough bleeding and I apologize for bringing it up but any answer would be greatly appreciated.
