You can at least go to the doctor and get him/her to give your mother an opinion about how to treat this. Your cramps and bleeding are not the "norm". You should take iron supplements to replace what you are losing with the excessive menstrual flow. The cramps also keep you from having a normal life. Maybe the doctor can explain to your mom that the pills would hormone therapy, not birth control (some religions, for example, are against all birth control.) You need to have a long talk with your mom and find out why she is against the birth control pills so strongly.
