Siegel, M.D.: "Re: cyst treatment PLEASE!" I am unable to see my doctor until next month because I am on vacation and have just found a hard cyst-like ball just below the opening of my vaginal area. It is the size of a small grape and has become very painful when I am sitting. I have never had any problems like this before, but I also just started taking Ortho-Tricyclean a month ago. Does this sound like a Bartholin's Cyst even though it is not inside the vagina? Could the Pill possibly have anything to do with it? And MOST IMPORTANTLY what kinds of over-the-counter medications or home-remedies could I use to dull the pain until I can see my doctor? Thank you. Next message: Harvey S.
