I am scheduled to have a laparotomy next Thursday (the 27th). My doctor is telling me that it is necessary to do this particular surgery to rid me of an Allen Master's Window. I have heard that it's not necessary to have this big of a surgery, but I really don't know. I also know absolutely nothing about the procedure. I would like to know what all it involves. He has also put me on Lupron and started me w/ addback (agystin) the same time I started the Lupron.
