My ideas:

Use lubricant. My favourite is Astroglide, which you can get at any drugstore.

When I get sore, I try not to use the same position for a few days, so I don't get friction/pressure on the same areas.

Are you using condoms? (I hope you do, what with you knowing each other only a short time.) Maybe you changed brands, and this is an allergic reaction? In any case, change brands and see if it helps.

Plus, have you considered STDs? Maybe time to have somebody check things out?
