It is very possible becasue you said you were not very good in taking them and not taking them when your supposed to. Yes you can get your period and still be pregnant but it is not necessary your period. IF you are concerned buy a test and test yourself to be reassured. You can also call your doc and have them test you with a blood test which is more accurate and ask him/her about maybe taking the BC shot either the Depo or Lunelle instead of pills since you cant remember to take them all the time that might be easier.
