Before the pills I had spotting for the past month. Then I started to bleed 15 days ago and haven't stopped. Today, I have heavy bleeding, large clots and pains inside of me. Is it normal to bleed this long and have large clotting & pains? Also, since I am new to birth control how long can this bleeding last? Should I be concerned that I had bleeding before I started to take the birth control that maybe there is a problem that is going unnoticed? Thank you for your help.
