I'm at the end of the pack. I have, however, had unprotected sex during this time, on days 14, 16, 19, 21 and 22. According to the pack, after 7 days it is safe to have sex, but I have been reading that doctors recommend backup protection for the entire month (my doctor did not tell me about this). I have missed only one pill (the second-to-last active pill) but still took it within 8 hours of the usual time. I did not take the pill at EXACTLY the same time every day, however, but usually within a 2 hour range. I am now on the 3rd inactive pill but there is not yet any bleeding, and now I'm extremely worried about being pregnant. I have tender breasts (but it has been this way all through the month) and lower back pain. It feels like PMS but I know that the symptoms of pregnancy and PMS are very similar. What are the chances that I am pregnant? What should I do if I miss my period? Also, does worry and stress affect bleeding while on the Pill as it does to a regular period?
