I agree with the other posters: To get relief from the itching, you need to be seen by a Dr. who can prescribe medication based on an exam and tests. Do take your friend with you and let her sit with you during the exam and hold your hand if it helps. Be sure to explain to the Dr. and nurse about your past history. This is important so that they have a clue to go slow and what tests need to be done.

Also you need counseling to help you move on with life. As you know the world can be a scary place. A counselor could give you the self-esteem to become all that you have the desire to be.

You had the courage to get online and ask for help. Now take the offered hand of your friend and take next step. You can do it!!
