Jen, Check it out with a podiatrist but also you didnt mention how you hurt your toe. Do you run? or play tennis? or other sports. You may wnat to check out soemthing called runners toe. I had the same problem and was treating it with all kinds of foot fungus stuff only to find out that I needed to get another running shoe. Check to rule out any fungi or other serious problems. Once that is done you may want to check with a sports doctor.
