I am concerned that about a month and a half ago I recieved an injury to one of my toe nails. At first I did not see anything wrong with it, but it hurt to the point where I could not wear closed in shoes. Then a couple of days later it turned completely purple, like a bruise. Since then the nail seems to be separating from the bed, but its been a month and still wont fall off. should I force it? do I need to see a foot doctor? any websites I can look at?
