Siegel, M.D.: "Re: Sports Physical" I received my summer sports physical form. On the form there is an area marked "genitalia", and a place for the doctor to check normal or abnormal. This is my first high school sports physical, and I don't remember my previous doctor (pediatrician) ever checking my vagina during a physical, I always kept my underwear on. I'm pretty sure this will not be a "gyn" type exam, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect. Do most doctors examine the vagina during a regular physical exam, and if so, what do they do;what should I expect her to do. Next message: Garry E.
