Depo Provera & Superficial PhlebitisFrom: Michelle (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 23 May 2002 09:26:19 -0500 (CDT)
I have been on Depo Provera since 12/1998, with no problems. I am 25 years old now, and in March I was diagnosed with superficial phlebitis. I had my last injection on March 7th, and it was determined that the phlebitis had started in late February, early March. Could this have been caused by the Depo Provera, being that I have not had any problems, besides lack of menstrual cycle, in four years? Also, should I still receive injections? Thanks,
-- Michelle
