Reply: Robin: "Re: Depo-Provera & Brown Discharge/Bleeding?" Hi, I am 17 years old, and am on Depo-Provera. I have gotten 2 shots so far, and am due for my next one, next Thursday. I haven't had a normal period since receiving the shots. This includes the 30 day long bleeding and spotting. I spot a lot after intercourse, but lately it has been a thick dark brown discharge. It's like I should be menstruating but instead it's just dark brown and a lot of it, because this time it has started to become continuous. This has only been going on for a week at the most, but I am still wondering if this is normal? Any response is greatly appreciated!
