Bladder infection?

I have had a low grade fever months. In addition my lymph nodes in the subcutaneous layer over my liver are swollen and sore. I also have a spasming feeling in my lower abdomen along the top of my pelvis, I think it is my bladder. If I urinate when the spasming begins the spasming will either decrease or totally stop. My MD did blood work and all the findings were negative or normal except for my ESR, Westergren, which was high. It was 22. On the sheet from the lab the normal range was below 20 and there was also a footnote stating that the levels would be lower if tested after 12 hours. The lab received the blood work 24 hours after it was drawn. My MD also did a urine culture. In her office she said that she could see one erythrocyte in the urine and it was not around menstruation. The lab findings were 10,000cfu/ml with a statement that the results may have been from contamination from external vaginal flora. My MD wants me to see my GYN as I have a history of ruptured ovarian cysts, she feels that I may have an infected cyst. If those findings are normal she wants me to see an Infectious Disease Specialist. While waiting for the Urine culture results I was laying in bed and the spasming began, but I could feel it go up my right side and continue to spasm in my kidney area. I don't know if I should wait a month to see the GYN, that was her earliest appointment or if I should have my MD order any tests that the GYN would? Also is it possible that I do have a bladder infection and should be on an antibiotic?
