Around September 2001 I had a sore in my vaginal area. I put some antibiotic ointment on it which was not a good idea because it went everywhere and made my vaginal area oily. I went to my doctor and he said it was a clogged sweat gland and gave me some medicine for it. I have had one before when I was younger so I know that it was not anything serious. Later I had a yeast infection caused by antibiotics around November of 2001. Ever since then I have had a rash around the lambia just where the hair ends. It is not itchy. When I had the yeast infection I pointed this out to my doctor and he said it was just an irration and was not concerned with it. I know it is not normal and I want it to go away. Also ever since I have had it my vaginal area has not been as moist as it was before the yeast infection. The rash looks like what my mom calls heat bumps. I have never had sexual intercourse, but I did let my ex-boyfriend touch that area with his finger once. My ex-boyfriend is from England and he said that he had shingles and that in England it is called herpes. I do know that shingles is in the herpes family, but I am very worried about my rash. I confronted him about it and he said that he does not have anything. He has always be honest with me so I don't think that it is, but of course people can be liars so I am still worried.
