Re: How to stop menstration forever

Let me get this straight (no pun intended): You are 20, have maybe one day of cramping, and having periods is kinda inconvenient, and you are looking to basically get rid of your cycle? As far as I know, there are no non-hormonal or non-surgical ways to get rid of your cycle. My view: You are a woman. You are fertile, whether you need to be or not. Your body works. What's wrong with that?

And before you jump into hormonal birth control, look at the possible side effects (and oh could I tell you, with almost 16 years of being on several pill brands). Yes, you get convenience, but you also pay (like with losing your sex drive, maybe, or with other little surprises that no ob/gyn ever tells you about). Not saying you shouldn't do it, but look at the pros and cons (and there are cons).

P.S.: Don't say you will never want kids. You never know. So don't
consider the more drastic steps that could impede your fertility - one
day, you might bite yourself for it.
