Weakness in the vaginal wallFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 8 May 2002 15:26:26 -0500 (CDT)
Hi, I'm 25 have had no children or pelvic surgery. I'm hoping someone can help me. I've been suffering from constipation lately. and I've noticed that if I insert my finger into my vagina when the stool is in the rectum I can feel it protruding through the vaginal wall. After I move my bowel and the rectum is empty it goes. Is the back wall of the vagina supposed to stick out more when the rectum contains stool, or is the muscle supposed to keep it as flat as if it doesn't? Will a guy be able to feel it during sex.Could this mean I have some kind of weakness in the vaginal wall and could be the cause of my constipation. Also my cervix is only as high as the second joint in my index finger is this normal? I'd appreciate anyone's comments Thanks, in advance. Sarah
