Recently my husband and I decided we wanted to try to start a family and I suffered a miscarriage in the month of March.I counted 28 days from the first day of my "period" which brought me to April 11th. I have still to have a period - I am currently over 3 weeks late and had a pregnancy test on Friday May 3rd which came back negative. My question is, there is no sign that I am going to get my period and I am concerned because one of my routine blood tests came back positive for Lupus Anticoagulent. Could this have an effect on my period? Could I still possibly be pregnant even though my period was due 3 weeks ago - would I still be getting a negative result at this stage and should I continue to wait? My doctor has said to wait for my period to come and then he would put me on a pill called "Clomid?" (sp?) which would help me to ovulate. I am concerned that I may be pregnant as I have heard that some women have low HcG levels in t >he beginning of pregnancy which causes even a blood test to return a negative reult. I am at my wits end and am not sure what to do. I do not feel at all like my period is going to come however, I have had some pregnancy symptoms - although mild. Nausea, fatigue etc. HELP! Any suggestions or input on personal experience would be greatly appreciated! Stress levels have been high lately, especially after miscarrying in March. Any input would be appreciated. >Thank You. >SARAH WHITEHALL You need more testing prior to Clomid, if not done. You could just be late, and I'm confused as to why the Lupus Anticoag was done. It shouldn't cause you to be late. Good luck. Garry
