Hi some of you may remember me from my previous messages about Pelvic Pain. What I want to find out this time is: if the pattern of my pain changes, eg mine used to be almost constant and had no real connection to my period, has changed within the past 6 or so months to become very sharp and severe, but not constant, and it gets worse in the week before and during my period. I mentioned this to my dr, and she just said that she wasn't surprised that the pattern has changed. Is this true? I had a laparoscopy almost 2 years ago, and nothing was found. To this day, I have not been given a diagnosis for my pain. I am now in unbearable pain for most of the month, since I also have irregular periods that come every 2 weeks or so. I am not sexually active, and also I have never had a pelvic exam, as dr's in Australia, that's where I am, say that virgins cannot have pelvic exams. I'd appreciate any help that could be given.
