Dear Anne,

The prednisone should clear it up for you. I'm not sure what the chances are that it's caused by orotho tri, but I've had 3 bouts of "kind of" hives since I've been on ortho tri cyclen. It's not a documented side affect, but anything is possible. If it doesn't clear up, I would do as your doctor suggests and go off the pill.
