Rashes and OrthotricyclenFrom: Anne (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 2 May 2002 20:11:28 -0500 (CDT)
The past week I've broken out into a rash that is on my scalp, face, arms, legs, and feet. It's a mixture of red bumps and red splotches. I've tried every anti-itch and anti-histamine cream I could find, I've tried oatmeal and baking soda and nothing works. My doctor prescribed fluocinolone and prednisone and they both have reduced the rash and the itching but it still isn't going away. My doctor said that if they can't find anything in my blood or any reason for the rash that it might be my orthotricyclen. I've taken it since July of last year and I really hope it's not the cause. What are the chances that the rash is caused by the ortho?
