The doc's right. I took a MAP post 36 hours and still managed to end up pregnant (with NO sexual activity prior or after the incident that warranted the MAP). While the odds are on the side of non-pregnancy, take the pregnancy test to be sure. It took a 3 weeks for my result to show up, but that was just me. Each week without a period, I took a test. On the 3rd week, it confirmed my fear. Just remember that the sooner you know the result, the better you can make an informed decision.
