Only way to know if you are infertile, I would think, is if you see a Dr. and even after trying yourselves, and then going through IVF, will you know for sure if you are infertile. I'm not a Dr. though. The way I am understanding your message, you miss a period about once a year ("Last year 4/21/2002...", "Last year it came 5/21/2001...", and now this year). Not having periods every now and again isn't really a cause for concern, but if you have been trying to get pregnant for a year, and you've not used any type of contraception, it is time to see your Dr. to be evaluated. Sometimes it takes longer than others. My mother was pregnant with my sister in 2 1/2 months of trying. With me, it took a lot longer. I just say, her body was waiting for the best ;o)...I also tell people that is why she didn't have more...she knew she had perfection ;o)...... Good luck to you.
