On May 9th I am going in for a vaginal hysterectomy. On May 6th I have a pre-operation appointment. I have made a list of questions to ask the nurses there. Could someone look over these and possibly give some more suggestions as to what else I may need to ask about that I may be overlooking? Thanks so much! Estimated recovery time if everything is normal. Special care for bladder... Special care for rectal tract..... What not to do during 1st week recovery What not to do during 2nd week recovery How long will surgery be What preperations do I need to do here at home What Foods to stay away from... How long before I can get back to bending, stooping and standing for long periods of time, such as dishwashing, laundry, and general house-cleaning. What degree of pain can I expect and will I be given pain medication How long will I be bleeding after the surgery How long will the surgery take
