Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Menstruation" I am 22 years old and for about a year now I have been experiencing mid-cycle spotting. I went to my gynocologist and she prescribed Provera for me to take during the first five days of my period. That was about a month and a half ago. Because of the provera, my period last two weeks and spotting continued for about two weeks after that. Now I am late for my next period by about two weeks. Is this normal?
