I was wondering if a combination of antibiotics and steroids (inhaler) (I had a bad case of bronchitis) could mess up my period and cause spotting and brownish discharge the next week. I was on the meds for ten days - five of which were supposed to be my period. There was no PMS and a very, very light period. Lasted about 3 days. Two days after I got off the meds, I started having a bit of brownish tinged discharge and some light spotting (brownish red colored). None of it is heavy and occasional crampy feeling in lower belly. This has been going on for about 4 days. I resumed my birth control pills also.
