A cyst larger than a grapefruit was removed from my left ovary. Several days ago, I began experiencing the same pelvic pain as before my surgery. I had an ultrasound done on April 4 (technician told me there were multiple cysts on the right ovary.) Doc told me to call if fever, nausea, etc. By the time I got home from the ultrasound, I was vomiting. My doc told me to go to ER. The ER basically blew me off - gave me some phenergan for vomiting and oxycontin for pain. I have been running a consistent fever of 100 - 100.5 since. My doc is not in the office on Monday. What could be going on with me? Do I need to go back to ER? -- Thank you in advance.
