>> Reese, I am not a doctor, but I have been where you are- and what you are describing sounds like an eating disorder. When I was 20, I was diagnosed with anorexia, and I spend some time in a hospital . Like you, I hated myself for eating even healthy food. I even began to restrict my water intake, because I feared the water would make me heavier. When you stop eating, you do stop having periods. And at the time, it seems like a great thing. But I was taught that it can have long term consequences for your reproductive health. Again, I don't know that you have an eating disorder - only a physican can diagnose that. But you do sound like you are in pain. I know how hard it is, and how scary it is, to let someone else in on a secret . I *knew* I was sick, and it still took me more than a year to find and acccept health for my problem. I hope that you have someone in your life that you can trust - a parent, a friend, a doctor- and that you can share with them what is happening to you so that you can get help. I hope that you are okay, and you may well be right now. But what you are describing is dangerous, and I do feel concerned for you. Blessed be, Tressa
