Odd Menstraul Problem - Is something wrong? Except for severe pain and heavy bleeding, nothing really odd has ever happened with my period. But when I had my last period, something happened tht had never happened to me before. It was extra painful and very heavy on the first day, like always. Normally, it would have stayed heavy for 5-8 days, only gradually tapering off at the end. But last time, the only heavy day was the first. The second day, and the third, were lighter, athough I still had pain. Then I stopped bleeding - and I thought it was over. A day or two passed with nothing. Then I started bleeding again - in the usual pattern. (heavy with lots of clotting) for several more days. That was in February. I just got my period again, and it is following the same pattern. Does this sound like it could be a health problem? Or just an oddity? I am not sure if I need to seek help for it or not.
