I've been told if you SATURATE a pad every hour or a tampon every two hours, then it needs to be evaluated. If you are changing to just avoid saturation, the bleeding may still be okay....if you are truly saturating the tampon every two hours, then you need to talk with your MD.

Do call your MD if you are at all concerned.
