You need a new GYN that will listen and answer question. The possiblities are scaring or damage of a nerve root secondary to the herpes, scaring of the skin, scaring of the muscle. You may want to try using successive dilators in the opening of the vagina to see it that will be of help. Finally, if it is neurologic, medication called Neurontin may help.
