If you do not feel comfortable with the answers you have received, get another opinion from a Dr. that can actually see the ultrasound pictures and make a determination about what is going on, if anything.

If the cyst is 2.2MM, that is very very tiny...even if it is 2.2cm, that is not very big. It could be a functional cyst, which is something we all form when we ovulate, and will go away when it ruptures to release the egg.
