The biggest risk from tanning and sunning is skin cancer. Malignant melanoma has become increasingly common over the past twenty years or so. I personally know 3 people who died from it, and all were in their 30's. If anyone wants to know more about melanoma, there's an excellent website, http://www. skincheck.com. It was created by the devastated parents of a twenty-something son who died of the disease; it contains pictures of moles and what to look for as well as other information... Pam
