Bump in the back of the throat....From: Ashley (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 24 Mar 2002 23:35:08 -0600 (CST)
I have been sick on and off for the last month. Each time I got sick, I would get well, and then get sick again a few days later. I do not think the sicknesses were related (all had different symptoms). This last time however, I had a sore throat. The sore throat has now gone away but there is a rather large bump in the back of my throat. It is larger than a kanker sore, however it does resemble one. Although it feels like I have something stuck in the back of my throat, it is not irritated and does not hurt. Should I be very concerned about this? I am only 19, so my first conclusion wouldn't be cancer (especially since I don't smoke, and I am not a heavy drinker). I am going to try and get to the doctor, but until than any advice or ideas?
