I wouldn't freak out too much, same thing happened to me a few times when I thought my cycle was set. Are you under any stress at all? school work etc? These things mess up your cycle and cause things like this. I had to start taking the pill to correct the problem. I had several periods where I felt like I had my period or was getting it but never technically got it and other times I had it so bad it wouldn't stop. They figured out that I stopped ovulating for some unknown reason and I have been fine on the pill ever since. If you have no other symptoms such as foul discharge, or inflammation, I wouldn't worry.
