hormonesFrom: dorothy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 20 Mar 2002 12:06:51 -0600 (CST)
hi, for a little less than a year I've been noticing changes with my body. My breasts got larger, my period starts on a drastically different day every month, and the flow as well has changed. I get soreness in my breasts and arms and sometimes my joints hurt. My neck has tightness and pain as well. Sometimes I get really hot and sweaty. I also have trouble sleeping sometime. I've been to my doctor numerous times and have had blood tests and x-rays and everything has come back normal. The doctor told me I was depressed and put me on Paxil which I had to endure awful side effects and didn't help anything else. My mother suggested could it possibly be my hormones to the doctor and she said I needed to see my gynecologist. I have noticed that this all happens during and about a week after my period. I am 22 years old and haven't had sexual intercourse. My question is could this possibly be my hormones?
