Re: Cervical Dysplasia...still?From: Marie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 16 Mar 2002 04:45:39 -0600 (CST)
Sarah, I wanted to mention that I have tried quitting or cutting back on the Betamannan a couple of times but my PAPS got worse in 3-6 months right back to where I started at. Then 3 months after getting back up to 4 caps of Betamannan a day, the PAPS improved. So it does look like the Betamannan works for me. I have not yet had a PAP after 6 or more consectutive months on the higher dosage, so I am hoping for more improvement. I also watch my diet and other nutrients. Folic acid, Vitamin A, etc. But the biggest difference for me is taking the Betamannan. I just wish I had known all this before my cervix was damaged by the surgeries. I lost a lot of mucous producing cells and have some dryness now. Wouldn't it be nice to have informed consent before this type of thing?
