They will do a pregnancy test if you ask. It sounds to me like you are simply adjusting to the BCPs. You may need a different kind to stop the problems that you are having. Also, I would request at your doctor's appt. that you request a pap test and complete STD screen, both of which could save your life and take about 10 minutes to complete, including the blood draw. Tell your doctor that you are uneasy about this visit! They will tell you exactly what they are planning to do, and will be very considerate and gentle. If anything hurts, tell them immediately. Take care,
-- Maggie
