Previous message: Heather: "Re: menstration" I am nineteen years old and just started taking orthotricyclene this month. After 14 days on the pill I started bleeding, it was light at first, than heavier, and started to seem like my period. My periods usually last 6 days, but I've been bleeding for nine. Now, according to the pills, I'm supposed to get my period on Sunday. Is this normal? What happens if I'm bleeding the whole time? My doctor said I might experience some bleeding in between for the first few months- is this what he meant? Is this a natural side effect or should I be worried? I have been consistent taking them- taking it between 1:45-2:00 each day. One day I took it a little late--around 4:00 but that was it. Could that affect it? Will this happen every cycle?
