Her doctor prescribed Ortho-tricyclene birth control pills which helped but she discontinued them because of weight gain and a rash on her face. She also has severe menstrual cramping which continues on mildly for a few days after her period. Is this normal to experience even mild cramping after a period? She is now married and on birth control pills which have helped the spotting issue but the cramping is still there. One doctor she talked to suggested she may have endometriosis.
