Hi Mary:

I'm not a Dr., but my neice had such problems at an even younger age. It was yeast, and the doctor told my sister to control her sugar intake and feed her yogurt regularly. It seemed to do the trick! Of course, you would have to get the cause confirmed by an exam. Best wishes.
