My name is Stephanie and over the past 3 years I have run into this problem 5-7 times (all mainly in the past year, probally due to the fact that I have been more sexually active.) Sometimes after having sex my labia through my perenium and almost to my anus will become VERY SWOLLEN. TO the point to where it hurts to walt, or sit, or even have my legs together(and the swelling doesnt go down for about 24 hours). I get regular pelvic exams and papsmears. I also get checked for stds every 5-7 months. I have had the same sexual partner for ten months now. I don't and I never have had an STD. The last time I was checked was 3 months ago. It also becomes very red. These occurances Have nothing in common other then the fact that they happen after sex(incase it is important I very rarely have orgasms and I have never had an orgasm during the sex that theese occur after). It has happened with latex condoms, with silicone dildos, and if i remember correctly with bare penile penetration. I always use alot of lube, plus I have a very healthy sex drive and I tend to always be pretty self lubricated. Though it might still be the friction, but the situation dealing with that is pretty constant each time I have sex. Any ideas on what this might be? is this something i should worry about? normally my labia is concealed by my outer lips, but when this happens it gets so swollen that they cant close and even end up being about 2cm apart.
