Hi. I am 22 years old and have needed to get a pap and pelvic many times because my periods are very abnormal and lately I have had pelvic pain. I have not been able to cooperate with my gyn because of my anxiety about the procedure. I had to go to the ER the other day because of the pain and they went to give me a pelvic and I made them give me a relaxer to see if that would help and they still could not give me an exam. If i have to embarrass myself I dont care, but i am in so much pain and yet i cannot go through the pain of getting an exam, i know its a painless procedure, but it causes me alot of emotional pain. Is there a place I can go where they can put me to sleep and give me the exam or knock me out for a few minutes. I really need help and I am in pain, and cannot go through with the exam....I just cant do it. What should i do.
