hii...21-yr-old virgin here...myproblem is that from 8months-1yr i've had itching'there'. there's no abnormal discharge, but sometimes it smells abit bad & i feel small bumps. the itching intensifies near myperiod, but stops for around 1-2weeks after they're over. the itching gets so bad that i just *have* to do something about it (i know, yuck)...(that aggravates it)...the itching recently spreadto the area betweenthe labias, near the vaginal opening & the anus...but offlate, its beenso bad that when i scratch, it bleeds betweenthe thigh & outer labia...i freakedout when i saw blood on the tissuepaper...i dont wanna risk tearing my hymen bymistake...the area betweenthe folds of thigh & outer labia also looks dry...(i've never had myself examined)

my mom (46) & older sis (28,virgin) started experiencing itching aroundthe sametime period, so we tried everything fromcreams containing lactocalamine, to clotrimazole to betamethasone-valerate. it seems tohave stopped for mymom & sis, but not me. my mom&sis use lots of talcum powder in that area to keep it 'dry'. my mom's theory isthat if its 'dry', less chances of stuff breeding..! i'm skeptical. its a chemical after all...is it harmful to use talc there?

i bathe everyday, wear 100% cotton panties, even then, just a few hours after bathing, theres a little icky white-ish deposit betweenthe inner & outer labia...kinda dry-moist at the same time..what on earthis that & is it normal?! i also find a light-ish green coloration on the sides of my panties…it doesnt look like a fungus, but it's appearance coincides with the itching. my first thought was maybe the presence of detergent may be reacting & therefore, turning a different color...could it be?

Detergent…talc…somethingelse…infection?
