For starters, I'm 25 year old virgin. From my understanding, one should see the gyne on a yearly basis since the age of 18--regardless of any sexual experience. I have never had an appointment with a gyne. Everytime that I wanted to make an appointment I've "chickened out". Needless to say, I am afraid of actually making it through one of these exams. Perhaps all that I need is to have some information as to what happens on these exams. What should I expect? What's going to happen? Is there anything that I should do before-hand? Perhaps having this information before the actual exam will help ease my mind. I would appreciate any help that you can give me. Thank you.
