Hi Mandy:

I'm not a doctor, but I think I can offer a suggestion or two. The monster is probably PMS, and there are drugs your doctor can perscribe for this. Some say that avoiding caffine will also help.

The medications that you are currently on may be adding to your tiredness. Having a one year old AND PMS symptoms is probably adding to your exhaustion. Birth control is not the only option - there are other medications that your doctor can give you to try.

When I had bad PMS I used to use diversion; when I'd get all upset, I'd make myself count to ten and then think of something else (something happy or relaxing). It worked some of the time, and perhaps it will help you until you can get back to your Dr. Please, go back to your doctor and insist that s/he help you. Many women suffer from PMS, and are treatable.

Best wishes.
