Palpitations, major moodiness, anger outbursts, fatigue...I am too young to be so tired..From: Mandy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 8 Feb 2002 10:47:36 -0600 (CST)
I am 23 yrs. old, my first child is 1yr. and I feel like throwing the towel in. I am costantly tired, no energy..about 2 weeks before my period I am a monster and then it doesn't end until the bleeding has stopped. It only leaves me normal for one week of the month, during which I am tired, so tired. I have been to the doctor numerous times, tried many different anti-depressants for the anxiety I feel and for depression and fatigue. I am currently on effexor which is supposed to help me lose weight, which seems impossible ever since I had my daughter. I have chronic shoulder pain, for which I have to stay on muscle relaxers of some kind. I am lost as to what to do. My body feels tired and old. I wonder if a lot of the pms and like symptoms may be due to estrogen levels since I am unable to take birth control due to major side effects. I know this a big bite to chew, I just wondered if anyone has ever dealt with this and has any pointers...thanks mandy
