Bacterial Vaginosis fluid question

Hello! I have had BV since mid-December, and at my annual Obgyn exam a few weeks ago they found that I had it from the Pap Smear results. I was given a prescription, which I will begin using tonight.

>From what I have read it seems that vaginal fluids/discharges increase
when one has BV, and I was wondering if this increase occurs also during intercourse, as my boyfriend loves that I am always "naturally lubricated" and wet. (to fill you in, I was a virgin until mid-Dec., which is when I seem to have gotten BV). I guess my concern is that once I use this medication, it will dry me up, so to speak, during intercourse. And my specific question would be, if when I'm stimulated I get a rush of fluids, is this because of the BV or this my body?

I realize that every woman is different and it might not be possible for you to answer this question, but any answer would be appreciated.
