'rough' sex and bleeding labia

My boyfriend and I had what I'll call overly-enthusiastic sex two nights ago (2/5/02)that caused my labia and clitoral area to bleed (I think a ring he was wearing cut me, and we didn't stop even when I knew it was hurting me.) Since then, I can't urinate without almost fainting from the pain--it feels like alcohol in an open wound. The bleeding has mostly stopped, but of course it will take time for the cuts to heal and the simple act of peeing to feel normal again. Is this something that will heal on its own, or should I see my physician? Is there a risk of infection from the urine? Should I use something like Neosporin to speed the healing? I can handle the pain if I know this is temporary and will get better with time, but I don't want to undermine my health by not seeing a doctor if that's what I should do. (And next time, NO JEWELRY ALLOWED near the delicate areas!!!)

Thank you in advance for your advice.
